Chinese Medicine

- Fundamental Modalities of Chinese Medicine- Fee: $30

This class will explore the fundamental modalities of Chinese Medicine for those who are interested in learning more about the traditional methods of Acupuncture and Herbal medicine. We will also explore the classical theories and methods of Chinese Medicine, emphasizing their basis in direct embodied experience

- Healthy Lifestyle Teachings of Chinese Medicine (yangshengfa) - Fee: $40

This class will discuss the healthy lifestyle teachings of Chinese Medicine (yangshengfa), and will focus on living with the seasons and diet. This class will explore how the basis of health is the ability to listen to the signals our bodies send us and to interpret them in ways that support our flourishing. Participants are strongly encouraged to supplement with two once-weekly acupuncture treatments with Aidan, which will allow him to personalize the material of the class and instruct participants in the specific ways it can be applicable to their unique body and condition.

Infant Massage

For parents of infants aged newborn through 12 months. Touch is vital for emotional and physical well-being. Massaging your child enhances the bond and communication between you and your infant. Bring your infant and a baby blanket.

Cost: $30/1 adult, $40/2 adults

MELT Hand & Foot

Learn how to erase pain and tension in your feet, hands, low back and neck brought on by everyday stress, overuse, and age in a MELT workshop!

This simple self-treatment can make your whole body feel better and provide relief from tension and pain.

Meditation

Former class, check back for dates. This 5 week in-person class will help you start a daily meditation practice.  We will explore formal meditation techniques from different traditions and informal mindfulness techniques you can do during everyday, active living.  Kurt will explain the techniques, guide you into meditation, and we will have time for questions and discussion.  No masks required in classroom, but feel free to wear a mask if you’d like.  Mask required in entrance and waiting room.  Kurt has been teaching meditation since 2009 and practicing since 1996.

Nia

Nia welcomes all to a cardio-dance workout and movement practice based on the intelligent design of the body. Nia tones your mind and tunes your body. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving you energized, mentally clear, and emotionally balanced.

Nia Jams

The Jams are open to all. The purpose of the Nia Jam is to explore Nia and to welcome anyone new as well as returning Nia students as a thank you for their support.

Reiki Training

Smoking Cessation

Quit smoking with the help of acupuncture.

Acupuncture can curb cravings and engage the body's relaxation response aiding in your commitment to quit smoking.

Session 1: Discussion of how acupuncture can be helpful while trying to quit smoking including tips for quitting through preparation. Consent forms will be completed along with a brief consultation. Acupuncture treatment will be applied.

Sessions 2 & 3: Follow up treatments for smoking cessation.

VALENTINE’S DAY PARTNER MASSAGE

This class teaches couples the proper way to perform therapeutic techniques simply and easily to give your partner relief, comfort, and contentment. By focusing on form, body position, and areas of discomfort you will add skills that will benefit both you and your partner for years to come.

Yoga Play

Seeking tools from Yoga to calm, center and energize yourself? Explore Yoga Play’s fluid, gentle yet transformational style of guided warm-up, posture flow, and relaxation meditation. No yoga experience is necessary. All are welcome.
