Fermented Foods Workshopbook now button 1

In this class we will learn how to make three different fermented recipes. Sauerkraut, which is fermented cabbage and sometimes includes other vegetables.  Kombucha, a sweet, sour, and fizzy fermented tea drink.  And lastly we would make vegetable beet kvass, which is a tangy, fermented drink made from beets, carrots, and ginger.

Participants will get to go home with their own fermented foods and a kombucha culture to make their own.  We will also try some different homemade samples.

All of these fermented foods are easy, fun, and cheap to make.  They are a great addition to one's daily diet and can be good replacements for unhealthy alternatives. They contain high amounts of probiotics which are very beneficial to the digestive and immune systems.
