
Irene Savoyat is a 1981 graduate of the
Scientific Therapeutic Massage and Research Center in
Pondicherry, India. She has since received training in
myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, muscle release technique,
and clinical sports massage from leading experts such as Earle
Timberlake, Benny Vaughn, Whitney Lowe, Bob King, and
Michael Young. She has also received advanced training
in pregnancy massage, infant massage, lymphatic drainage,
craniosacral therapy, and esoteric healing. In 1997,
Irene Savoyat was the honored recipient of the
Greater Lansing Business Monthly Entrepreneurial Award for Health Care.
Christine Reay began practicing massage therapy in 1989. She has received training
in myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, clinical sports massage, and
Swedish massage from esteemed instructors including Earle Timberlake, Benny Vaughn,
Whitney Lowe, and Bob King, among others.
Christine's interests include working with acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems and providing sports massage to recreational and competitive athletes. She worked as a volunteer examiner for the AMTA National Sports Massage Team from 1991 to 2000. She has also had the distinct privilege of working as a massage therapist at four Olympic games, five Olympic trials, and three international meets with USA Track & Field, in addition to the Detroit, New York and Boston Marathons, and the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii.
