Creative Wellness has over 20 massage therapists on staff offering a wide range and style of massage therapies.

Our therapists are graduates of accredited schools and many are nationally certified by the NCBTBM -National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.  Most have graduated from massage therapy schools in the Mid-West. Others have come from as far as Europe and South America.

Creative Wellness has a unique philosophy where we encourage you to explore different therapists and different modalities to help you achieve your goals. Each therapist is a unique person and has developed their own style and approach to bodywork. As you will read below, each therapist determines their own career path and decides which modalities to pursue for supplemental training and certification. We feel this is a great advantage for our clients.

Adriana has been an international trained massage therapist for over 20 years. She trained in the United States as well as Argentina, her native country. Adriana is well known in the area for her Ashiatsu Bar Therapy. Additionally she is qualified in Oncology Massage, Craniosacral, Myofascial, Neuromuscular and Reiki (level 1). She is also skilled in Pregnancy Massage and is a Birth and Postpartum Doula in her spare time. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Analise completed her training at Lansing Community College and uses a variety of clinical and relaxation modalities. Analise has experience working with geriatric patients, and providing chair massages at events such as bike tours, 5K races, and trade and bridal shows. She has been with Creative Wellness since 2010.

Ann R. has been nationally certified in massage therapy for ten years, and joined the Creative Wellness family in 1993! Dedicated to providing excellent care to her clients, Ann tailors her treatments to their needs through active and engaged listening. She is trained in many modalities and massage techniques, including pregnancy massage, polarity therapy, and acupressure.

Andrew studied Massage Therapy at Lansing Community College, is nationally certified in Massage Therapy and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Among his specializations, Andrew works with clients to promote wellness through Clinical Massage, Positional Release, Relaxation Massage and Reflexology on the feet. Andrew works diligently with clients using techniques to alleviate pain associated with migraines and TMJ. Andrew joined Creative Wellness in 2009.

Anna is nationally certified in Massage Therapy, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and has been dedicated to serving clients of Creative Wellness since 1997! Anna’s experience as a social worker and skilled listener allows her to give a very personal experience to each client. Of Anna’s numerous specializations, she is enthusiastic about providing clients with health, relaxation, and wellness through Reiki (she is certified in all levels of Reiki therapy), Esoteric Healing (she is certified through level 4), and Craniosacral therapy.

Chris D is nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and has nine years of experience in massage therapy. He has completed training at the Scherer Institute of Massage Therapy in Sante Fe, NM, the Boulder College of Massage Therapy and the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. Chris specializes in advanced therapeutic massage, deep tissue and structural integration, pregnancy massage, and reflexology.

Corey is a Lansing area native and trained at the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. She has experience in Myofascial, Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapy which can help with issues related to prolonged computer use and work stress. Corey also works to raise awareness of the benefits of complementary medicine and the importance of having a well-rounded health and wellbeing plan, particularly in the areas of ergonomic workstations and occupational habits.

Jason is a nationally certified massage therapist and worked for several years as a social worker in geriatric settings before pursuing a career in massage therapy. He attended the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and received advanced clinical training through the Orthopaedic Massage Education and Research Institute. Jason specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy and Sports and Oncology Massage. He is particularly passionate about helping clients achieve their fitness goals. Jason joined Creative Wellness in April 2000.

Julia joined Creative Wellness in 2009 after graduating from Hope College and the Kalamazoo Center for Healing Arts. She specializes in Relaxation Massage, Myofascial Release, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Neuromuscular Therapy and Acupressure. She particularly enjoys working to provide clients with relief from chronic migraine headaches.

Kieve is a nationally board certified massage therapist. He combines techniques with a firm, nurturing touch to provide relief and relaxation. Kieve’s specializations include Hot Stone massage, Myofascial, Pregnancy massage, and Sports Massage.

Kathleen is a board certified structural integrator and is additionally certified in Rolfing® structural integration. Kathleen is also a practitioner of the Rossiter System for workplace health. She comes to East Lansing every Monday from Southfield to bring these modalities to the area.

Laura P graduated from Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage and is a nationally certified massage therapist. To accommodate the changing needs of her clients she combines Clinical, Relaxation, Trigger Point, Myofascial, and Sports Massage techniques to create a soothing and therapeutic experience for her clients. In addition, Laura practices Thai Massage. She joined Creative Wellness in 2002.

Lori completed her training at Lansing Community and is nationally certified in massage therapy and bodywork. She is additionally certified in Ashiatsu Bar Therapy and Oncology Massage with advanced training in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Neuromuscular Therapy. Many of her clients come to Lori for relief of upper body tension in the neck, shoulders and upper back. Lori joined Creative Wellness in July 2008.

Matt is a 2007 graduate of the Health Enrichment Center in Lapeer, Michigan and is Nationally Board Certified. He combines aspects of Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, isolated stretching, sports massage, and relaxation techniques to provide a totally customized session.

Micah studied massage therapy at Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage and the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. He is an AMTA member and holds a Neuromuscular Therapy Certification. Micah specializes in helping clients with TMJ, Myofascial Release, and Reiki energy work. Micah joined Creative Wellness in May 2010.

Monika – is a graduate of The Chicago School of Massage Therapy and has a special interest in helping clients with chronic tension headaches and cervical problems. Her training also includes Neuromuscular Technique, Sports Massage and Deep-Tissue, and Pregnancy Massage. Monika has been with Creative Wellness since -----

Sarah has over six years of massage therapy training and is a member of AMTA. She enjoys integrating and combining different techniques of Clinical and Relaxation Massage and energy work to provide a highly therapeutic experience for each client. Sarah is enthusiastic about using her training to help people achieve a higher quality of life. Sarah has additional training in Polarity Therapy (level 2), Reiki (level 2), and Neuromuscular and Trigger Point therapies.

Shawna is a graduate of The Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy and is certified in Swedish, Myofascial and Neuromuscular Massage techniques. As a mom, Shawna has a special interest in working with clients who are pregnant or under emotional stress, paying particular attention to neck and shoulder issues. She is constantly attentive to the individual needs of each client, listens to their concerns and uses her training to provide relief and a greater quality of life.

Susan is a graduate of The Ann Arbor Institute of Massage, is Nationally Board Certified and holds a B.A. from Michigan State University in Psychology. She has practices for more than 15 years and draws from a long list of modalities including Aromatherapy, Myofascial, Neuromuscular, Sport Massage, and Muscle Release Techniques to treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Susan has specialized training and interest in massage for Stress Management.
