
Explore how yoga can help balance your body and emotions. You will learn a home yoga practice to help you cope with low energy, restlessness and depressed mood. This class will include yoga postures, breath awareness, breath techniques and reflection/meditation. Yoga experience is helpful, but both beginning and experienced yoga students are welcome to attend. Please bring a yoga mat and blanket.
Clare Collins R.N., Ph.D, ERYT-500 is a Yoga teacher and certified Yoga Therapist who has been teaching Yoga since 2000. Her approach to yoga adapts the tools of yoga to the specific needs of the individual. She teaches Yoga teachers and Yoga Therapists at national trainings through the American Viniyoga Institute. She is a registered nurse and Professor Emeritus of Nursing at Michigan State University.
